Options for NodeProject.build.
Properties
env: Record<string, string>
property
Extra environment for this build's run alone, over the project's env.
For a value the build bakes into its output, such as a public key a
bundler inlines. Unlike the project's env, it does not reach the
dependency install, so changing it leaves npm ci cached.
ignoreFailures: boolean
property
Capture outDir whatever the script's exit code, instead of failing the
build on a non-zero one.
For a run whose output is the point and whose verdict is not. Updating visual-test baselines is the case this exists for: the suite writes each new snapshot as it renders it, so one page that throws should still leave behind the ninety that rendered. Without this the pod fails, the capture never happens, and a single broken case costs the whole update.
Never set it on a target whose job is to report a verdict. A test that cannot fail is a test that always passes.
outDir: string
property
Project-relative directory to capture. Defaults to dist.
script: string
property
The package.json script to run. Defaults to build.
